Whew! OMG, I finally finished! Erk, it's a huge file...sorry it's so big! I talk too much ^_^;;.

So, here's a tutorial on how I CG color! Of course, everything in here is just my opinion...and might not be the best or even a good way of coloring. You might want to look at the finished piece before reading through and getting contaminated with my bad coloring techniques or something! ^__^;;;;;;;;;

Ummm, I'm using Painter IX here, but I don't do anything weird or fancy, and it's easy enough to translate everything into Photoshop or other CG programs, I think :heart:.

Hahahaha, I got lazy by the end, can you tell? *falls over*

I hope this helps people a little though...I don't know if I explained things very clearly T_T;;. Let me know if anything wasn't clear!

Ummm, I'm using the picture I did that's fanart of ~rukes character! So character here is copyright to ~rukes ^_^!

T__T Yeah, it's expensive to get and stuff. Sorry! A lot of the things here are pretty basic though, and can be done with any CG program ^^, so maybe it'll still help a little...*falls over*

=D It's done with painter, but maybe the same affects can be achieved with Photoshop.

That chibi there is adorable *__* Tutorial itself is very helpfull :3 although I don't have any programme with layers. I use Corel Painter Classic. Good job <3~!

Thankyee TT! :glomp: Oooh, Painter Classic O_O! I used to use that too~~. Using the wet watercolors as layers was harder....*memories* XD XD I miss its watercolor brush though TT! Painter 9's watercolor brush is awful =_="

xD I usually use airbrush and scratchboard tool :] Sometimes water-thingy. I have to get Painter XI _^_
